Registration and Fees for Summer 2026

** New This Season ** : EXPERIENCED SAILOR BONUS INSTRUCTION

Please let us know if your "Experienced Sailor" who is already registered in a "Standard Class" for either: 1) Opti 3 & FEVAS 2) 420 Light Air or 3) 420 Advanced, would like to add additional sailing outside of standard class time (3 - 4 hour session minimum).

We will try and accommodate your ideas within the schedule and staff constraints and charge an additional hourly fee ($15/hr. residents & $20/hr. non-residents)

1. For Youth Sailors:

Returning Students: Consult "2026 NSP Course Approval PDF" at the bottom of this page and follow steps below.
New Students: consult "Class" page on this site that describes classes and prerequisites.

Choose to participate on EITHER Tuesday or Thursday night
OR
New this year, BOTH Tuesday and Thursday night
If you choice a single night, the night you choose will be the same for the entire season

REGISTRATION

Between February 2nd and April 1st

First - Complete All sections of the online registration form and click the "Submit Form" button

Second - Add additional registrants if necessary

Third - Before you "Checkout", please note the "Entry ID #" for the registration , you will be asked to enter this on the Town Of Nahant Payment Site to help track registations and payments.

Fourth- You must CLICK the "CHECKOUT BUTTON" AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE to complete electronic registration

Fifth- Print, Sign, then Mail or Deliver Waiver

Print and sign the appropriate Waiver from the found on below on the NSP website.

1) Mail or drop signed waiver to Jen Hall

Mail: 1 Wharf Street, Nahant MA 01908

Hand Deliver: To the "NSP-DROP BOX", at 1 Wharf Street, Nahant.

The "Drop Box" is the copper mailbox, just inside the driveway on the left side, mounted on the side of the garage. Please see the photos below for the box and its location.

PAYMENT

After April 6th and before May 15th

Complete Payment on the Town of Nahant Online Payment Site

ALL PAYMENTS MUST BE MADE THROUGH THE NEWLY CREATED

"TOWN OF NAHANT- City Hall Systems" Online payment site

Enter Municipality: Nahant, Payment Button "Sailing Program" and follow the instructions
NOTE: You must register through the "NSP Registration Site" before paying on the Town site.
NOTE: You will be asked to input your "Entry ID Number" from the registration site, when paying on the City Hall Systems site
